Smoking Korean White Tiger

A pure Filipino raised in America, growing up reading manga. The Japanese manga industry kicked my inspiration for art of a wide variety of media. With experience of live-action filming and music production, I utilize these skills into my works of arts and writing. My main medium is watercolor and ink work with messy intention to incapsulate what would seem to be human error or fault, but a beautiful mark of what a soul has left behind, sometimes I create large acrylic paintings as a milestone for what I have learned about composition and technique and art itself, but my passion is creating comics/mangas.

I have a wide variety of paintings, comics/mangas, and even done animation. Enjoy my works that are inspired by Filipino tradition, art styles inspired by various Asian artists, and stories influenced by movies, books, comics/mangas, and the life I live.

A local Pacific Northwest artist with Korean, Hawaiian, and European heritage, growing up I was always interested in learning more about this heritage and the history that accompanied it. My love for my heritage and for history have inspired me to create art that reflects cultural symbols as well as historical features.

Tigers, specifically tigers as represented in Joseon Dynasty Korean art were the initial inspirations to much of what I have created and the synthesis of my own tiger faces. I have branched out to incorporate features from other traditional art mainly pulling from different Korean art mediums and Hawaiian motif patterns. My main medium currently is digital art, though I have and still use physical mediums mainly pen and paper.
